About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Technical Services Analyst who will support our Joint Range Extension (JRE) Program as a Mission Support Representative. This role is onsite in San Diego, CA and will require the candidate to be local to the area. JRE Mission Support provides first-tier support for the JRE system, which has been supporting the warfighter for over 25 years. Initially an Air Force program (JTEP), the JRE now supports all branches of the United States military and has expanded sales throughout the US and to NATO Coalition forces such as the Royal Australian Air Force, Canadian Air Force, and Republic of Korea Air Force.

Requirements

  • Must be local to San Diego, CA.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Solaris system administration.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via phone and on-site to provide expertise for mission execution.
  • Travel to customer locations (CONUS and OCONUS) for Information Assurance updates, training, installations, and system troubleshooting.
  • Provide 24/7 Mission Support and JTEP Technical Service Desk phone support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Return Merchandise Authority issues.
  • Provide JRE operator/maintainer training.
  • Offer on-site customer support (up to 40% travel).
  • Conduct JRE Demonstrations.
  • Perform Information Assurance updates.
  • Image/reimage JRE hard drives.
  • Troubleshoot ancillary equipment such as cables and radios.
  • Perform Windows, Linux, and Solaris system administration.
