Technical Service Representative
About The Position
Kaeser Compressors, Inc. is seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of Technical Service Representative for our Fredericksburg location. Kaeser Compressors is one of the largest and most successful suppliers of industrial compressed air and vacuum systems with nearly 7,000 employees worldwide. Our primary goal is providing exceptional customer service coupled with innovative products and progressive system solutions. We specialize in evaluating each customer’s application and providing the most energy efficient and effective air system solution.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Good communication skills/phone skills required.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suites.
- Regular physical attendance at the worksite.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the electrical or mechanical industry.
Nice To Haves
- college degree preferred
- SAP experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to in-house personnel, authorized distributors, and customers regarding sold Kaeser products to include on-call support on weekends and holidays.
- Respond to inquiries from branches and distributors regarding part numbers and product manuals.
- Document component failures and troubleshooting methods.
- Analyze data to diagnose compressor problems.
- Perform inspection and failure analysis of returned components as required.
