About The Position

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology is looking for a part-time Technical Service Lab Attendant to work within the department of Cosgrove Lab for the 2026-27 academic year. This position will be under the supervision of Edward Wagner and duties include, but are not limited to, assisting faculty with routine teaching lab functions for the Biology Core Courses such as preparing lab materials/lab equipment, maintaining lab room and prep spaces, washing dishes and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time registered Penn State student (preference given)
• Must be able to submit applications electronically
• Must complete online application form
• Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting faculty with routine teaching lab functions for the Biology Core Courses
• Preparing lab materials/lab equipment
• Maintaining lab room and prep spaces
• Washing dishes
• Other duties as assigned
