Technical Senior Revenue Analyst
About The Position
As a Technical Senior Revenue Analyst, you will ensure accurate, consistent application of ASC 606 through analysis of complex deals and contract modifications. You will complete all required month-end close activities including revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reporting. You will also maintain technical accounting memoranda and revenue policies under ASC 606, prepare and assess technical revenue workbooks, and analyze revenue fluxes. Additionally, you will identify, evaluate, and implement automation improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of technical revenue assessments, and lead audit support and SOX control documentation for revenue.
Requirements
- BA or BS in finance/accounting
- 3+ years of revenue accounting experience in the SaaS/Technology industry and/or public accounting firm
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to balance recurring deadlines and longer-term technical projects
- A proactive worker with integrity and accountability, while also being a team player
- Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace
Nice To Haves
- CPA preferred
- NetSuite or Salesforce experience is a plus
- Experience with automation or AI is a plus (Claude, Alteryx, Domo, Google Apps Script)
