About The Position

As part of the global Revenue Assurance and Accounting (RAA) team, the Sr. Technical Revenue Accounting Analyst reports to the Manager, Revenue Accounting. They will make technical accounting decisions for new or custom product offerings, go-to-market strategies, major partnerships, OEM and large revenue deals, and new system rollouts. They will also support 10-Q and 10-K revenue disclosures. This role and the Technical Revenue Accounting team act as the “hub” for important RAA initiatives, offering reporting and coordination throughout RAA functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or equivalent experience in education and work
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Accounting / Finance, including experience with software and service arrangements
  • Solid understanding of the technical application of ASC606 and all other current authoritative literature related to revenue recognition is required
  • Strong grasp of external reporting standards connected to revenue
  • Strong organization skills and self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to clearly communicate complicated accounting topics for multiple audiences and levels of management
  • Ability to use AI-assisted tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot with an automation-first approach to continuously streamline and improve daily operational processes.
  • Strong skills with MS Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • CPA or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be a key resource/subject matter authority for revenue recognition conclusions for the RAA organization passionate about revenue
  • Identify and propose appropriate action related to revenue-generating transactions and write related technical memos within defined policies and authoritative literature
  • Assist with implementation of timely reporting and process improvements based upon industry trends, authoritative literature and business objectives
  • Be aware of relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures align with developments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to deliver accurate, audit-ready month-end and quarter-end revenue deliverables
  • Work closely with IT development team to improve system processes and reporting outputs
  • Work with internal and external auditors to discuss accounting approaches and conclusions
  • Maintain SOX controls and assist in the automation and other SOX initiatives
  • Support acquisition integration
