About The Position

Cogent Security is seeking a Technical Security Specialist to support the Technical Countermeasures Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) mission with a Federal Law Enforcement agency within Washington, D.C. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

The position leads and assists with TSCM missions, including construction security; performs research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and development of technical security equipment and systems; and investigates and develops advanced techniques and devices to mitigate threats. The specialist also addresses conflicting security requirements, communicates technical security issues to customers and groups, and writes reports documenting mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security matters.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant TSCM experience.
• Government certification in TSCM.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to conduct shift work and travel as needed (0–45%).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
