About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Technical Security Guard for a surveillance security role in Pasadena, Texas. The position involves monitoring screens and security systems to spot threats, suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, or malfunctions before they escalate. The guard documents events and incidents, responds to potential threats, conducts patrols, controls access to secure areas, verifies visitors’ identities, and helps protect people and property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at an hourly wage of $16.00. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is made.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have very strong computer skills, particularly in data entry.
• Pay very close attention to detail.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Office applications.
• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
