About The Position

Woodland Direct is seeking a Technical Sales Support Representative I to assist customers, contractors, and the sales team with product selection, installation questions, troubleshooting, and technical support for their hearth products. While hearth experience is not required, the ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, technical curiosity, and a passion for problem-solving. The company provides training for the hearth industry and support for NFI certification.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable learning technical product information.
Basic computer proficiency and the ability to work within CRM and business systems.
Ability to type 30+ WPM (50+ WPM preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in HVAC, construction, hearth, or a related technical field strongly preferred.
Willingness to begin working toward National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certification.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support before and after the sale.
Assist customers with installation, troubleshooting, and product application questions.
Support the Sales and Customer Service teams with technical expertise.
Resolve escalated customer concerns while delivering exceptional service.
Become a product expert in assigned hearth product categories.
Meet individual service goals and follow up to ensure successful customer outcomes.
