About The Position

As a Technical Sales Specialist for the CMAX paint division, you will play a key role in the customer experience. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise to store employees and customers. Additionally, you will ensure the effective use of CMAX paint and body products and recommend best practices for preventive maintenance. This position is based out of the NAPA Winnipeg headquarters and involves time on the road.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Paint & Body
• Sales and business development skills with good budget and analytical experience

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency technical support, color matching expertise, and product training to collision shop customers and employees.
• Support business development calls, actively participate in the conversion process of new customers, and gather market intelligence on competitive threats and trends.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Paint & Body preparation and detailing operations, and recommend best practices for preventive maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store team members, customers and distribution centers.
