Job Purpose The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for attaining and fostering National Accounts contracts and National Accounts customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales
  • Proven sales experience
  • Experience with product development
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Above-average reasoning and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate technical specs into commercial applications
  • Leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous National Account or material handling experience preferred
  • Rental Market sales experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Attaining sales, service and signed contract quotas as assigned
  • Identifying and profiling Accounts
  • Working closely with higher-level management on contract construction and negotiation
  • Working with company sales and service network to properly maintain accounts
  • Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization
  • Acting as product specialist to drive sales to increase margins
  • Providing consistent messages to the field regarding product training| price negotiation
  • Keeping up with competitor products and activity
  • Ensuring field staff is trained on all aspects of product lines
  • Attending quarterly and annual meetings regarding product performance and challenges
  • Communicating with Corporate Headquarters and field locations regarding product updates, applications, product concerns, warranty issues
  • Providing product reviews and handling all field calls on competitive product questions
  • Keep expenses within budgetary limits
  • Identify and profile potential major accounts
  • Work with both sales and service to maintain all major accounts
  • Complete activity reports after account visits
  • Performing other duties as assigned
