This role requires candidates to reside in Colorado, Utah, or Texas, covering life sciences and industrial accounts within this territory.

Requirements

  • College degree
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B technical or solution-based sales within industrial, manufacturing, or life sciences markets.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotes and driving revenue growth
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of time
  • Work from a remote home office in the geography (Colorado, Utah, or Texas)
  • Must be a self-starter having demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Must have superior presentation, organization and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to quality service
  • Demonstrated ability in the management of large accounts

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned territory sales and profitability goals in line with Computype’s Business strategies, revenue, margin, and customer service goals.
  • Develop business plans to expand the customer base and maximize company income.
  • Work with existing and new customers to understand their requirements, create and provide proposals for solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Grow and expand the existing key account customer base.
  • Identify and expand opportunities for repeatable, consumable-based business within the territory.
  • Manage complex customer projects by coordinating cross-functional internal resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposed sales terms and conditions, and communicate and negotiate these with customers.
  • Partner closely with the Technical Services department and other internal stakeholders throughout the sales process.
  • Utilize market insights and industry knowledge to develop and execute a goal-oriented territory plan.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of territory activity through Salesforce, including forecasts, key account profiles, and sales call reports.
  • Prepare and present RFQ resource requests.
  • Actively participate in annual sales forecasting and ongoing forecast updates.
  • Support the implementation and communication of approved pricing programs and adjustments.
  • Strategically plan and execute overall sales strategy within the assigned territory.
  • Execute the territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize strategic selling acumen and listening skills to uncover customer needs and opportunities.
  • Employ solution-selling techniques to identify business needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses and articulate Computype’s competitive advantage.
  • Demonstrate effective sales closing techniques.
  • Prospect and open new key accounts.
