In our Technical Sales Program: You will accelerate your career by gaining hands-on product knowledge, getting exposure to regional market strategies, and developing essential customer service and sales skills. It’s time to make connections, get energized, and power ahead. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $82,000 a year. This position offers a one-time $6,000 signing bonus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a graduation date before August 2027
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • Minimum of one internship or co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of work experience completed at the time of this application
  • Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
  • Ability to speak a second language
  • Enrolled in an engineering or business degree from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on product knowledge.
  • Get exposure to regional market strategies.
  • Develop essential customer service and sales skills.
  • Gain hands-on technical, commercial, and leadership experience through two one-year rotations.
  • Build expertise in Eaton's products, solutions, and customer-focused sales strategy.
  • Deliver value-driven solutions to distributors, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and end customers.
  • Build strong relationships across Eaton's businesses and customer channels.
  • Complete technical assignments designed to build foundational product knowledge, customer understanding, and business expertise (e.g., Project Engineer/Coordinator, Technical Support Engineer, OEM Account Engineer, CPDI Account Engineer).
  • Transition into an Inside Sales Engineer role in the second year.
  • Apply technical knowledge and sales skills to support customers, develop solutions, and drive business growth in the Inside Sales Engineer role.
  • Prepare for future sales leadership opportunities.
