About The Position

As a Technical Sales consultant and key member of the East Region sales team, you drive business growth in Anton Paar's microwave-assisted synthesis, digestion, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy product lines within your territory of NJ, NY, and the New England States. Your location is ideally in New Jersey, but other major cities in the territory are possible. Anton Paar is focused on selling and supporting a range of high-precision measuring instruments for physical, chemical, mechanical, and structural properties. The company is highly diverse, dynamic, and financially sound, having grown every year since its start in 1986. Requirements

Experience in technical sales
Excellent communication skills and business acumen
Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Valid driver's license and passport

Nice To Haves

Experience in analytical instruments sales
Bachelor's degree in a chemistry, natural sciences, or engineering

Responsibilities

Generating and developing new accounts and effectively managing existing accounts.
Presenting to small and large audiences including C-suite executives, production and lab managers, and technicians.
Qualifying opportunities, developing and presenting proposals, and closing business.
Travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
