The Technical Sales and Education Specialist is responsible for the coordination, development and execution of sales training in support of the North America Sales team business strategy. Typical responsibilities may include ensuring a consistent alignment in the development and delivery of training programs, such as new hire orientation, sales/optical training, lab training and/or customer support training. Sound Interesting? Here's what you'll do: Facilitate and deliver high-impact training programs utilizing a variety of methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness for the audience. Work with the Regional Manager and Business Development Representatives to assess customer training needs and establish a training plan to onboard, support and grow accounts. Provide training support for New Hire Onboarding, National Sales Meeting, Association Conferences, Tradeshows and Customer Training Events. Support new hire onboarding and continuing rep development efforts by conducting co-travel assessments, providing feedback and working with Sales leadership to enable rep success. Provide ABO training in partnership with other colleagues for ZEISS employees and customers as needed. Provide inputs to training content and materials to support company objectives and initiatives. Develop ROIs and metrics for assessing efficacy of training methods by effectively measuring, benchmarking and monitoring learning impact to the business. Perform other duties as assigned.
