About The Position

The Technical Retail Associate provides daily IT ticket support, monthly remote boutique support under the IT HUB model, and assistance with IT projects. The position supports retail infrastructure activities and projects through hands-on and remote technical support, device configuration, boutique support, compliance reviews, asset management, and preparation of retail and corporate equipment. The role is based in Shelton, Connecticut, and reports to the Manager, IT Retail Systems.

Requirements

Understand PC hardware and software installation, diagnosis, and repair.
Read and analyze log files and troubleshoot software installation issues.
Have a strong understanding of Windows 11.
Perform basic network troubleshooting.
Perform basic Active Directory and Azure administration, including account and group creation.
Understand DHCP and DNS.
Communicate technical information clearly, verbally and in writing, with technical teams and the user community.
Have strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Cisco IOS.
Knowledge of Meraki hardware.
Understanding of Citrix.

Responsibilities

Support the Retail Infrastructure Team’s day-to-day activities and assist with new and ongoing projects.
Provide hands-on and remote support for Windows-based PCs, laptops, tablets, and assorted peripherals.
Handle support tickets for hardware and software issues and requests.
Image and configure computers to replace failed devices and fulfill new requests.
Conduct monthly IT support calls with assigned boutiques.
Complete monthly PCI compliance reviews.
Manage hardware assets.
Support IT project activities, including retail refresh and retail expansion projects.
Prepare and ship new POS stations and corporate devices.
