About The Position

Assembly Industries is building an AI-enabled talent platform that connects top-tier, highly skilled global professionals with innovative companies across the US. As a fast-growing startup, we are laser-focused on impactful growth, agile strategies, and exceptional results. We're looking for a Buenos Aires/Argentina-based technical recruiter to help us hire full-stack, AI, and senior software engineers across the region. The ideal candidate understands how the engineering market works in Argentina and brings local trust, network, and cultural fluency to connect effectively with candidates.

Requirements

• 4+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record specifically in technical hiring (full-stack, backend, AI/ML, or senior engineering roles).
• Based in Argentina, with an existing network in the local tech/engineering community.
• Proven ability to get strong response rates from Argentinian engineering candidates — you understand the local market, salary expectations, and what makes candidates engage.
• Comfortable working independently in a part-time, freelance capacity with role-based/success-based compensation.
• Strong written and spoken English (for coordinating with our hiring team) and fluent Spanish (for candidate outreach).
• Organized and responsive — you manage multiple open roles at once without candidates falling through the cracks.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience recruiting for startups or fast-scaling tech companies.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools, specifically Linkedin Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for technical roles (full-stack engineers, AI/ML engineers, senior/staff-level engineers) across Argentina.
• Run initial outreach and screening calls, assess technical/cultural fit, and manage candidates through the pipeline.
• Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and our hiring team.
• Keep candidates warm and responsive throughout the process — follow up, answer questions, and represent our company accurately and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline/tracker for every open role you're working.
