About The Position

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter with a successful track record of identifying, engaging, and closing candidates; someone to grow and drive recruitment efforts across multiple technical teams. If you enjoy looking at the big picture and influencing key partners, you can do that here while reaching the right hiring decisions. Our teams are constantly evolving, so you’ll need to be comfortable adapting to change and prioritizing customer service. Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, CA area for this position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing and closing for technical positions at all levels
  • Demonstrated track record of building successful partnerships at all organizational levels
  • Solid capacity to conduct behavioral competency assessments and determine best placement of talent
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies and build diverse talent pipelines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, creativity, flexibility, maturity, and sound judgment
  • Motivation to take initiative and a passion for results
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, marketing, or communications

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Experience working with software development and engineering professionals, especially with the development of COTS solutions, web and mobile applications, and related software implementation patterns
  • Business understanding of software development within high tech companies
  • Understanding of basic immigration laws and work authorization/visa requirements
  • Knowledge of ADA, EEO, FMLA, Title VII, wage and hour laws, and benefits
  • MBA or master’s degree in human resources, communications, industrial psychology, or marketing

Responsibilities

  • Drive results. Own full-cycle recruiting and employee selection efforts within our growing Product Development and Engineering division. Partner with senior leadership to understand their hiring objectives and develop a plan to hit goals and deliver quality and timely results. Create and execute effective sourcing strategies and techniques to find professionals across a variety of roles. Positively reflect the Esri brand while generating and curating a healthy pipeline of high-quality candidates.
  • Foster relationships. Build solid relationships with leadership teams and serve as a thought partner before, during, and after the recruiting process. Manage candidates in process and provide them with a positive candidate experience. Partner with HR specialists in the areas of global mobility, organizational training and development, compensation, and compliance.
  • Be an expert. Develop deep business knowledge of Esri’s Product Development and Engineering division, and exchange knowledge with peers supporting similar technical teams. Maintain key recruiting metrics and analyze recruiting trends to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and drive effective hiring decisions.
