About The Position

LMI is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support hiring across our growing digital, platform, and product engineering ecosystem. This role will focus on identifying and attracting technical talent across software engineering, cloud, platform engineering, data, AI/ML, product, and emerging technology domains supporting mission-driven solutions for federal customers. The recruiter will partner closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies, build strong technical talent pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This individual will operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and play a key role in helping scale teams focused on digital transformation, advanced analytics, and mission technology solutions. This is a hybrid role with weekly onsite requirements at our Tysons, VA headquarters (3 days per week). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5+ years of recruiting experience with a focus on technical, engineering, or products.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, product, or digital-focused roles.
  • Familiarity with recruiting across technical disciplines such as software engineering, cloud, data, AI/ML, DevOps, platform engineering, or related areas.
  • Ability to build sourcing strategies and engage passive technical talent in competitive markets.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
  • Familiarity with modern technical environments, software development organizations, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Experience supporting recruiting efforts within consulting, government contracting, or technology organizations is a plus.
  • Understanding of recruiting processes, compliance requirements, and hiring best practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems; iCIMS experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and candidate engagement skills.
  • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance. Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances, due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Support hiring efforts across engineering, product, and technology organizations.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop and execute recruiting strategies for technical and professional positions.
  • Lead full lifecycle recruiting efforts including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and candidate management.
  • Support hiring across a variety of technical disciplines including software engineering, cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, data, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and product-focused roles.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to understand hiring priorities, team needs, and technical skill requirements.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive technical talent.
  • Leverage recruiting tools and professional networks including LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms to build talent pipelines.
  • Conduct candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and overall alignment with team and organizational needs.
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Partner with recruiting and business teams to improve hiring processes, drive efficiency, and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and hiring progress within applicant tracking systems.
  • Maintain compliance with OFCCP requirements and company hiring policies.
  • Support broader talent acquisition initiatives including branding, pipeline development, and strategic hiring efforts.
