About The Position

At FLORA, one of our most important priorities is hiring world-class talent. As our first Technical Recruiter, you’ll build and run our technical recruiting engine from the ground up. You’ll partner with hiring managers, candidates, and external search firms to ensure a high-signal, high-velocity hiring process.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of recruiting experience in a high-growth startup.
  • Strong judgment on technical talent quality and ability to assess engineering candidates.
  • Exceptional project management and coordination skills — able to keep multiple pipelines moving with precision and organization.
  • Clear, warm, and direct communicator who can interface confidently with candidates and senior hiring managers.
  • Passionate, purpose-led, and all-in. You are obsessed with working towards our vision and spreading it to the world.

Responsibilities

  • Build the company's technical recruiting function into an effective and efficient hiring engine.
  • Conduct all first-call technical candidate screens to evaluate fit with the role and the culture.
  • Partner with external search firms and sourcing partners to source and vet candidates.
  • Project-manage the full hiring pipeline for every open technical role, ensuring clarity, consistency, and fast decision-making across all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate all scheduling and logistics for virtual and onsite interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Gather, synthesize, and facilitate feedback from interviewers to help hiring managers make clear, confident decisions.
  • Design and continually improve our hiring processes, optimizing for strong insight into candidate ability, efficiency, and candidate experience.
