About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to help us attract, engage, and hire highly skilled professionals across cybersecurity, privacy, IT architecture, and related technical domains. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the nuances of federal contracting, and can transform recruiting from a reactive function into a strategic business advantage. This is a part-time or 1099 role to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter or talent acquisition professional
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for:
  • Cybersecurity, privacy, IT architecture, or similarly complex technical roles
  • Federal government contracts and government-adjacent organizations
  • Proven ability to execute quick-turn hires under tight timelines
  • Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn, referrals, niche communities, and other channels
  • Experience building or refining recruiting workflows and processes
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time or contract capacity

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for highly skilled roles including:
  • Cybersecurity professionals
  • Privacy and data protection specialists
  • IT architects and engineers
  • GRC, compliance, and other mission-critical technical roles
  • Support recruiting for both federal contract positions and internal corporate roles
  • Manage quick-turn hiring needs tied to contract awards, proposals, and surge requirements
  • Federal Contract Recruiting
  • Recruit candidates who meet federal contract requirements (e.g., clearance eligibility, certifications, specific labor categories)
  • Understand staffing timelines tied to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and contract wins
  • Build and maintain pipelines of pre-vetted, deployable candidates for anticipated awards
  • Workflow & Process Development
  • Design and optimize recruiting workflows that enable speed, quality, and scalability
  • Implement repeatable processes for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and proactively build talent pools
  • Strategic Talent Partner
  • Advise leadership on market conditions, talent availability, and competitive hiring strategies
  • Help position recruiting as a competitive differentiator in winning and executing federal work
  • Continuously improve candidate experience and employer branding
