About The Position

Mashgin is seeking a full cycle Technical Recruiter to join our team and support our growing hiring needs. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to managing the offer process. You will work on a wide range of product and engineering roles, focusing primarily on high-impact positions in product development, engineering, machine learning, and computer vision. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, has experience with full-cycle recruiting in high-growth technology startups, and is passionate about building diverse, high-performing teams. You'd be expected to be onsite at our Palo Alto, CA HQ when you have candidates interviewing onsite. This role will have the opportunity to focus on: Engineering: Software engineers (Full-stack, Backend, Frontend), computer vision engineers, and possibly hardware specialists who build the "brains" and "bodies" of our kiosks. AI & Machine Learning: Researchers and engineers focused on computer vision, deep learning, and neural networks—the core IP that defines Mashgin. Product & Design: Technical product managers and UX/UI designers who translate complex AI capabilities into seamless, frictionless user experiences. Technical Leadership: Senior staff engineers and architectural leads who will steer the future of our technology roadmap as we scale globally.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in recruiting within a high-growth tech startup environment is a must
  • Proven track record of successfully filling technical and non-technical roles across various departments
  • Experience with sourcing techniques, talent mapping, and engaging passive candidates
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools; Lever experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with candidates and hiring managers
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of the technology and AI space is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with hiring managers and department heads to define job requirements, set recruitment strategies, and develop a strong understanding of the talent needed for various teams
  • Sourcing, attracting, and engaging top-tier candidates using creative sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Y-combinator networking, etc).
  • Managing the recruitment process from start to finish, including screening resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling and coordinating interviews, gathering interview feedback, and facilitating offer negotiations
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for frequently hired roles to ensure quick access to a pool of qualified candidates
  • Conducting initial assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Providing an outstanding candidate experience by guiding applicants through the recruitment process with transparency, consistency, and professionalism
  • Collaborating with executive leadership on offer details, negotiating offers, and closing candidates to bring them onboard this rocketship!
