About The Position

Lumerate is rapidly growing and is searching for a Technical QA Manager to join their team. Lumerate builds AI-powered products that help professionals in the medical innovation ecosystem understand and take action on what’s happening in their specialized domains. They have multiple products across the ecosystem, each using a shared, highly configurable technology stack. Their vision is to connect their network of tens of thousands of users to advance medical innovation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, QA Automation, or related technical roles such as Software Developer within a software product company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical hands-on experience
  • Ability to read application and test code (e.g. Ruby, Python or Javascript)
  • Hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and running test suites within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or similar integration tools)
  • Direct experience using modern issue-tracking software like Linear, Jira, or GitHub Issues to triage and manage defects
  • Practical experience translating product briefs into comprehensive User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and clear test plans
  • Comfortable reading and navigating application code and test suites to identify edge cases and pipeline failures
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and maintain a sharp focus on quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Solid technical understanding of automated testing processes and best practices
  • Balance independent technical problem-solving with collaborative cross-functional teamwork
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical engineers and business stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with B2B, SaaS, or complex web applications is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience with ChatGPT MegaBuster 2000™

Responsibilities

  • Project UAT creation, test plan verification
  • Systematic bug triage and management across the stack
  • Maintenance and monitoring of CI/CD systems
  • Hands-on management of staging systems, including data extracts, full data deployments, and development data versioning
  • Supporting engineering teams by clarifying technical constraints and bridging communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Management of test automation
