Requirements

  • Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of project management expertise; PMP certification is helpful
  • Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing equipment design and technology; B.S. in an engineering field is required
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
  • Leads functional teams in projects
  • Must have effective communication to articulate requirements and improve team efficiency
  • Persuades team members to meet commits and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are a must to manage multiple project teams at the same time
  • Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
  • Manages constraints to identify and drive critical path

Responsibilities

  • As Obsolescence Technical Program Manager (TPM) you will lead projects to develop solutions for critical parts that are impacted by obsolescence from OBS notification to release in high volume manufacturing
  • You will manage cross functional teams that consist of 5-20 people in functional areas including engineering, technology, manufacturing, field support, marketing and several other areas
  • TPM is accountable for managing scope, schedule, resources and risks for the programs
  • Daily activities include driving the program meetings, accelerating the critical path, guiding the team through the product change process, executive updates, risk management and planning resources (head count, controllables and capital expense)
