At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Project Horizon is Blue Origin's most ambitious manufacturing investment — a purpose-built upper stage production facility targeting first article delivery of the GS2 Gen 2.0 upper stage and scaling to full rate production capability. The Technical Project Manager is the horizontal integrator for the entire Gen 2 Production Operations organization. You will report directly to the Director of Production, Gen 2 Operations and serve as the single point of accountability for program execution rhythm, cross-functional decision gate management, risk tracking, and production readiness convergence across four Senior Manager organizations: Dome-Barrel-Tank Weld-NDT, ES-ISA-Skirts-Final Assembly-Coatings, Manufacturing Engineering, and Business Operations. This role does not manage a production work center — it manages the system that connects all work centers into a coherent, on-schedule program. This is an immediate, high-priority hire. The program infrastructure you build in your first 90 days will define how effectively the entire production organization executes across the program lifecycle.
