The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing projects to ensure that the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, and scope. This role manages specific projects assigned by the Program Manager, including project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance. The TPM role monitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget, and schedule, providing interim progress reviews until completion. The TPM role assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing program policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents. The TPM role works from the latest client-approved version of the Project Management Processes (PMP), which is an evolutionary document updated annually at a minimum and as project changes occur. Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements. This position is contingent on contract award.
