About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role supports the infrastructure delivery needs for key lines of business in a Delivery Lead (Technical Project Manager) capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile capabilities and will serve as the point of contact for monitoring, with a strong focus on Splunk implementations. The position involves working independently to provide leadership and strategic direction on all information technology issues.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in an Infrastructure Delivery Technology environment
• Strong focus and experience with Splunk implementations
• Ability to multi-task, as well as being flexible to assist team members as needed
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for all levels in the organization
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead complex projects and/or programs
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Outlook
• PMP certified
• Must be able to develop and manage project plans and budgets
• Must be able to manage risks and issues in a complex technical environment
• Must have a working knowledge of infrastructure systems and solutions utilized within a large enterprise
• Must have experience successfully delivering infrastructure technology projects

Nice To Haves

• Previous Delivery Lead experience
• General knowledge of business operations, applications, and strategy in the financial sector

Responsibilities

• Lead a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact
• Support the infrastructure delivery needs of key lines of business
• Work independently, with limited direction, and be evaluated through end results
• Initiate and provide leadership, strategic/tactical direction, and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues
• Participate with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards, and development efforts that impact the business area
• Serve as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests
