About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Project Manager - Infrastructure for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role will manage infrastructure design and delivery efforts for the Global Information Security portfolio. The ideal candidate will handle the end-to-end management of highly complex projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing Agile Scrum skills and Jira tools to drive deliverables and manage technical resources.

Requirements

• Educational background and experience in project management, business management, or a related area
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong technical project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Scrum and Jira
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience with large-scale complex projects
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (physical/virtual server hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, network traffic management, DMZ)
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to work with and manage disparate teams globally
• Proven track record in a similar role with strong interpersonal skills and a sense of ownership

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure design and delivery efforts for the Global Information Security portfolio
• Oversee projects ranging from deploying infrastructure for lower-tier applications to highly available applications requiring multi-datacenter deployments
• Lead end-to-end management and go-live events for complex projects
• Manage, lead, and direct the work efforts of technical resources
• Utilize Agile Scrum and Jira tools for day-to-day management and to drive project deliverables
• Act as the project's primary point of contact, aligning resources and defining responsibilities
• Lead daily meetings, remove impediments, and drive project execution, integration, and implementation
• Define project milestones, manage risk and mitigation planning, and ensure process adherence
• Provide timely updates in Jira regarding project status, accomplishments, and next steps
• Escalate project risks and issues to senior management and technical partners
• Prepare and present information and data to senior leaders
