We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of enterprise data solutions, with direct hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Fabric implementations. This role will drive end-to-end delivery across data warehousing, data fabric, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager in data/analytics environments
  • Proven experience leading Microsoft Fabric implementations (required)
  • Strong background in Microsoft data ecosystem (Azure, Fabric, Power BI)
  • Experience managing Agile delivery and serving in a Scrum Master capacity
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of data architecture concepts (ETL/ELT, pipelines, data layers, lakehouse)
  • Experience delivering data warehouse and analytics platforms
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives
  • Background in data analytics, reporting, or BI (Power BI)
  • Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of Microsoft Fabric-based data platform implementations
  • Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies using Microsoft Project
  • Oversee and manage JIRA backlog, including ticket creation, prioritization, and sprint tracking
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) in a Scrum Master capacity
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Drive implementation of data warehouse / data fabric architectures, including pipelines and analytics layers
  • Ensure delivery of data layers (bronze / silver / gold) and downstream reporting solutions
  • Track and communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery
  • Support data governance, validation, and quality controls
