Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering project management services for technology in real estate buildouts.
  • Experience working with GCs, architects, MEP consultants, electrical contractors, low voltage contractors, AV integrators, physical security integrators and other construction trades.
  • Intermediate to expert capabilities with low voltage structured cabling systems, networking, AV, and physical security systems.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors, architects, engineers, and technology vendors.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills for global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day project manager for technology-related scopes of work.
  • Be the primary field point of contact for project general contractor (GC), related subcontractors and all contracted vendors, integrators and service providers.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and deliverables in coordination with the overall construction program.
  • Coordinate dependencies between technology workstreams and broader real estate/construction milestones.
  • Manage issue/risk logs, escalate blockers to assigned TPM, and drive timely resolution.
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintained detailed documentation for all technology scopes.
  • Oversight of structured cabling (copper and fiber optic horizontal, backbone, riser, patching, etc.) activities performed by project low voltage contractor.
  • Equipment room and telecom closet (MDF/IDF) buildouts activities performed by project low voltage contractor.
  • Ensuring all deliverables are in accordance with drawings, specifications and best practices.
  • UPS and PDU installation, configuration and power up.
  • Network equipment delivery logistics.
  • Collaboration with Network Engineering (NetEng) team as needed during project lifecycle, including during services turn up and testing.
  • Coordination of ISP circuit delivery, cross-connects and turn up.
  • Coordination of switching, routing, firewall and wireless infrastructure installations.
  • Device power connections per established standards.
  • Rack & stack, patching, cable management, labeling, turnup and cutover activities.
  • AV equipment delivery logistics.
  • Oversight of the implementation of conference rooms, all-hands spaces, and collaboration technologies performed by project audio visual integrator.
  • Coordination with network team on port configuration, VLANs, IP reservations and commissioning troubleshooting.
  • Coordination with AV integrators during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Oversee punch list and make sure installations and commissioning are to standards.
  • Oversight of the implementation of access control, biometrics, surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and related systems.
  • Collaboration with Corporate Security (CorpSec) Technology team as needed during project lifecycle, including field escalations.
  • Integration with building and enterprise security standards.
  • Coordination with network team on port configuration, VLANs, IP reservations and commissioning troubleshooting.
  • Coordination with security integrators during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Attend and actively participate in: Weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings, Box walks and site inspections, Field design meetings, Vendor coordination sessions.
  • Represent the technology team and adjacent partners in construction meetings, advocate for standards adherence and report back on issues, actions, and progress.
  • Oversee commissioning, validation, and acceptance of all technology systems in accordance with standard specifications, runbooks and checklists.
  • Track punch list items and ensure remediation by vendors.
  • Confirm handover documentation (as-builts, test results, warranties, training materials) is received and validated.
  • Provide weekly written project status reports summarizing schedule, budget adherence, key risks, and decisions required.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communications with internal TPMs and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder updates, executive briefings, and escalation communications as needed.
