About The Position

itD is seeking a Technical Project Manager II to drive silicon development programs supporting Company Reality Labs' next-generation hardware products. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in silicon and hardware program management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution, with a proven track record of delivering complex engineering builds, managing material readiness, and keeping New Product Introduction (NPI) programs on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant technical program management experience.
  • Strong understanding of silicon development flows, including ASIC design, RTL, physical design, analog, and digital design fundamentals.
  • Experience managing external silicon or hardware design vendors and supplier relationships.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional technical programs using project tracking tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Experience coordinating engineering builds, material planning, schedules, budgets, and vendor deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive).
  • Experience working in fast-paced hardware development environments with globally distributed engineering teams.

  • Previous experience supporting Meta or other large technology companies.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
  • Experience managing silicon material planning, foundry operations, or hardware supply chain activities.
  • Experience supporting engineering prototype builds for consumer electronics or semiconductor products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead silicon vendors to ensure timely delivery of wafers, engineering samples, and materials required for prototype and NPI builds.
  • Develop and maintain engineering build schedules, build matrices, scope, and material tracking plans while managing change requests throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical, material, and schedule risks while driving mitigation strategies.
  • Manage communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors by coordinating meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking action items.
  • Track engineering budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with program milestones and forecasts.
  • Maintain engineering documentation, including specifications, bill of materials (BOM), design collateral, and build status reports.
  • Monitor silicon material flow from foundry through downstream validation teams, proactively identifying shortages, schedule risks, and allocation priorities to support engineering milestones.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
