Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within its Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S. The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley. This is a remote opportunity with 10% travel. The Technical Delivery Assistant Project Manager (APM) will report to the Technical Delivery Manager [Civil Infrastructure] and will be responsible for supporting the management and integration of consultant teams, technical disciplines, and project stakeholders through engineering, environmental, preconstruction, procurement, and early implementation phases of civil infrastructure projects within the Planning & Engineering Office. The role may support projects including, but not limited to, Merced to Madera (M2M), Locally Generated Alternative (LGA), Gilroy to Merced, Central Valley Stations, and other civil infrastructure projects requiring technical delivery coordination, oversight, integration, and implementation support across the Authority. The APM will assist in the development and execution of project delivery strategies and coordinate across Authority branches, consultant teams, local agencies, and external stakeholders to support the advancement of complex infrastructure projects throughout planning, engineering, environmental, procurement, and preconstruction phases.
