About The Position

We are looking to hire a Technical Project Manager – Datacenter & Infrastructure on a full-time, permanent basis as soon as possible. We embrace a remote-first approach, but you can choose whether to work in a hybrid model or entirely on-site, depending on your proximity to one of our locations. Our data centers and infrastructure consist of highly scalable, globally distributed systems serving hundreds of thousands of customers, with a correspondingly high level of technical interdependence. Migrations, expansions, and infrastructure changes have a direct impact on production systems and must be precisely planned, coordinated, and implemented. You will work right at the intersection of technical infrastructure, operational implementation, and project management. You will take on the management and coordination of data center and infrastructure projects—with a clear focus on migrations, rollouts, and operational infrastructure changes. In doing so, you will work closely with infrastructure, network, and operations teams as well as external service providers to ensure that technical changes are implemented in a structured, traceable, and stable manner. You’ll start on the team with close professional guidance and gradually grow into independent responsibility for more complex infrastructure and migration projects. Depending on the project phase, you’ll not only be involved in coordination but also closely involved in operational implementation to realistically assess technical dependencies and impacts. The goal is for you to independently manage larger infrastructure projects in the medium term, thereby actively contributing to the stabilization and further development of our data center environments.

Requirements

Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, hosting, or data center environments.
A solid understanding of server, network, or data center infrastructures.
Initial experience coordinating or managing technical projects or operational processes.
The ability to understand technical interdependencies and assess the impact of changes.
A structured, reliable, and highly prioritized approach to work.
Excellent communication skills between technical teams and stakeholders.
Excellent German and English language skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with data center migrations or infrastructure rollouts.
Knowledge of operating systems (Linux and/or Windows Server).
Experience working in hosting, cloud, or MSP environments.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools in a technical context.
Basic understanding of change, incident, or deployment processes.

Management and coordination of data center and infrastructure projects, with a focus on migrations, rollouts, and operational infrastructure changes.
Close collaboration with infrastructure, network, and operations teams, as well as external service providers.
Ensuring technical changes are implemented in a structured, traceable, and stable manner.
Gradual growth into independent responsibility for more complex infrastructure and migration projects.
