About The Position

The Technical Project Engineer will perform engineering tasks using working knowledge of FFL and industry standards. This role involves driving and supporting all engineering activities at the Broken Arrow facility, managing projects from concept through completion. The engineer will be responsible for quoting, design execution, and technical deliverables, even during peak workloads, and will proactively communicate status and capacity with their manager. This position serves as the primary technical point of contact for FEJ/MEJ and REJ (RKS) engineering solutions, collaborating closely with key regional customers and providing technical support throughout the American markets. The role includes participating in daily technical operations by addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and identifying process improvements, as well as executing day-to-day engineering initiatives aligned with global SSS objectives. Ensuring all technical requirements, responsibilities, and performance expectations are met in accordance with customer specifications and internal standards is crucial. The engineer will evaluate engineering risks, assess potential impacts, and propose mitigation strategies, contributing to the development of innovative products, technologies, and engineering processes. The role requires working effectively within an international, cross-functional team environment and involves approximately 40% travel for customer visits, sales activities, and field service needs. The position also focuses on ensuring professional, consistent, and standardized program management across all assigned projects, applying established processes, systems, tools, and control mechanisms to enhance Program and Launch Management. Tracking and managing program performance through KPIs, project controls, and structured escalation is key, as is driving all assigned projects in accordance with FFL standards, ensuring milestone quality and on-schedule delivery. Coordination of cost calculations, supply chain support, and material planning for platform projects, along with collaboration with local and regional managers for project alignment, visibility, and success, are also core functions. Maintaining clear communication, documentation, and transparency throughout all phases of the project lifecycle is essential.

Requirements

4+ years of industrial and engineering design experience in Expansion Joints.
Experience and Knowledge of key Customer’s within the region.
Qualification Testing of various SSS products for use in the Energy sector.
Degree Qualified with an Engineering discipline.
Safe handling of digital tools such as SAP S4H, CAD tool Inventor, use of PDM system, calculation tools, etc.
Basic business administration knowledge
