About The Position

Loft Orbital’s mission is to simplify access to space, streamlining the process to develop and deploy mission tasking to our space infrastructure. As a Technical Program Manager in the Mission and Program Engineering (MPE) department, you will work across software- and systems-oriented teams responsible for designing how satellites fulfill mission requirements and ensuring on-orbit success. This role involves supporting the team in planning and execution, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions on time, and developing lightweight, intuitive processes to drive team efficiencies. You will also collaborate with the broader TPM group at Loft to guide effective and efficient team collaboration. This is an opportunity to shape the company's growth and operations, making a significant impact on redefining space operations. Loft Orbital, founded in 2017, provides governments, companies, and research institutions with a fast, reliable, and simple way to deploy missions in orbit. They offer end-to-end missions as a service across various applications like Earth observation, IoT connectivity, on-orbit AI, and national security. Leveraging existing space infrastructure and an inventory of satellite buses, Loft reduces integration and launch timelines from years to months. With over 30 missions flown and a growing fleet aiming for 30 satellites by 2027, the company is rapidly expanding across its offices in San Francisco, CA, Golden, CO, and Toulouse, France.
