About The Position

Millennium is seeking a senior individual contributor to serve as the operating partner to the Head of Trade Platform Engineering. The Technical Program Manager will bring structure, transparency, and execution discipline to a portfolio of mission-critical post-trade technology initiatives. The role translates strategic priorities into an executable portfolio, coordinates delivery across engineering and business teams, manages dependencies and risks, and represents the organization with stakeholders. It helps the Head of Trade Platform Engineering maintain a clear view of commitments, make informed trade-offs, and ensure important work progresses to completion. The position combines rigorous program management with business judgment, process-development skills, and technical fluency sufficient to engage credibly with engineering leaders. Its primary focus is program execution, operating rhythm, and stakeholder alignment rather than detailed requirements writing or solution architecture. Millennium is a global, diversified alternative investment firm founded in 1989. Its Information Technology organization supports the firm’s active, multi-manager business model through flexible, scalable technology and proprietary systems. The Trade Platform Engineering team supports the technology environment underpinning post-trade processes and works closely with partners across the firm.
