Technical Program Manager

Nscale•New York, NY
•$180,000 - $210,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Nscale is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of its Technology Operations program portfolio. This role is responsible for the platforms, endpoints, and collaboration tooling that all Nscale employees rely on, ensuring these services are delivered effectively as the company expands across offices, data centers, and remote teams. As an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director of Global Technology Operations, you will own delivery outcomes, collaborating with TechOps engineers to transform technical designs into actionable plans. A key aspect of this role is understanding the technology well enough to critically assess plans and implement efficient mechanisms that enhance execution without causing process delays.

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience in technical program management, IT program delivery, corporate or enterprise engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable delivery of large-scale endpoint, identity, or collaboration platform migrations across complex or distributed environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with identity, device management, productivity, and other core workplace technologies, sufficient to challenge a technical plan, not just track it.
  • Strong change management and end-user communication skills, with an understanding that a technically successful migration can still fail if adoption and support aren't addressed.
  • Experience defining delivery standards, reporting frameworks, or operating mechanisms adopted beyond your immediate team.
  • Ability to translate technical detail into clear executive-level reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-growing international technology, cloud, infrastructure, or AI organization.
  • Experience working alongside Enterprise Security and Identity teams on device posture, conditional access, MFA, or local admin reduction.
  • Comfort querying platform data to automate reporting rather than collecting status manually.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Experience using AI or automation to improve program tracking, reporting, or corporate engineering operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the Technology Operations program portfolio, including device management platform migrations, global office build-outs, and productivity tooling transformation.
  • Run technology implementation, migration, and remediation projects at scale, covering pilot groups, rollout waves, rollback criteria, cutover runbooks, and early-life support.
  • Partner with TechOps engineers to translate technical designs into delivery plans, maintaining accurate program documentation, decision records, and delivery artifacts.
  • Support technical changes with clear communications, adoption planning, and support readiness.
  • Drive blockers and escalations to resolution, rather than simply reporting them onward.
  • Define delivery and reporting standards for technical projects within TechOps, aligning with Corporate Engineering and Information Security where appropriate.
  • Establish and run weekly program reviews, roadmap tracking, escalation paths, and action follow-through.
  • Build intake and prioritization mechanisms that clarify current activities, deferred items, and accepted risks.
  • Maintain a single executive-ready portfolio view covering scope, milestones, blockers, and risks.
  • Translate technical delivery details into clear business impact for leadership.
  • Utilize device inventory, enrollment state, licensing, and ticket data to drive delivery and adoption reporting, reducing manual status gathering.
  • Distinguish real progress from activity and surface slippage before milestones are missed.

  • Dynamic progression plan tailored to ambitions
  • Flexible workplace
  • Medical insurance
  • Dental insurance
