About The Position

This role is for a Technical Program Manager who will report to the Company’s VP of Project Management Office. The position requires working onsite at customer premises in Raleigh, NC, or Greensboro when appropriate and approved by the customer. The role involves 4 days in the office and 1 day remote per week, with standard working hours of Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm EST. Support for customer and programs off-hours may be required. Travel to Quincy, MA headquarters or other offices is necessary for onboarding, training, and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • Expertise in managing deployed SDWAN solutions.
  • Experience logging into Fortinet & Cisco infrastructure.
  • Experience with internal and external ticketing systems.
  • Experience interacting directly with customers to help them operate and optimize networks.
  • Experience interacting with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management.
  • Experience running meetings, creating and maintaining timelines.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and auditing internal teams.
  • Familiarity with project initiatives such as TIPNE, LAN Wireless SDC, POTS replacement, IPV4 – IPV6 transition, and Pro Services.
  • Experience assisting in new solicitations and ensuring timely responses.
  • Knowledge of PMO principles including Project Plans, Risk Registers, and Change Control.
  • Experience conducting technical project reviews.
  • Experience optimizing reports on network development program status.
  • Experience tracking adherence to MSA’s and SLA’s.
  • Experience providing progress updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Technical and industry expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management for USPS, a premier Platinum Account at Granite.
  • Provide expertise around the management of a currently deployed SDWAN solution that is actively adding 100s of locations per week.
  • Log into Fortinet & Cisco infrastructure, make changes, and interface with internal and external ticketing systems.
  • Act as the project authority for Granite supporting the customer and interact directly with the customer to help them operate and optimize their networks.
  • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management daily, run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
  • Lead, Mentor, and Audit internal Granite teams executing large-scale project initiatives for USPS, including TIPNE (Phase 1,2,3 – Access and SDWAN), LAN Wireless SDC, Plant, Retail – Wifi & Switching, POTS replacement - Epik, IPV4 – IPV6 transition, and Pro Services.
  • Assist in new solicitations and ensure they are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Ensure resources are working cross-department and assisting each other when necessary.
  • Ensure all aspects of PMO principles are reviewed and improvements implemented to ensure Granite is delivering world-class customer experience, including Project Plans, Risk Registers, and Proper Change Control.
  • Conduct thorough technical project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Optimize monthly reports on the overall network development program status, track adherence to MSA’s and SLA’s, and work to improve overall adherence.
  • Provide regular progress updates on strategic network implementation plans to executive leadership and stakeholders internally and externally, covering Account Management, Project Management, Design and Network, Day 2 Support, and IT Support.
  • Build strong relationships with key USPS stakeholders, positioning with USPS leadership and nurturing current and future business relationships.
  • Provide technical and industry expertise to position Granite to increase services and offerings with the Client.
  • Achieve goals measured by overall client satisfaction via independent audit, growth of the client in current awarded solicitations, winning new solicitations, and ensuring all Granite resources working on the account are fully utilized and reporting resource needs to Executive management.
