About The Position

RunSybil is looking for a Technical Program Manager to own how engineering ships at the company. This role will run the engineering operating rhythm, coordinate work across product engineering and security research, and ensure complex programs are delivered on time without surprises. The Technical Program Manager will partner closely with engineering leadership and product to translate the roadmap into reality. This role is designed to make engineering more leveraged by acting as the operating system behind a small, fast-moving team, managing everything from sprint planning to launch readiness to postmortems. The goal is to make engineering faster, more predictable, and more leveraged.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in technical program management, engineering management, or a senior technical project leadership role at a software company
  • Track record of running engineering operating rhythms and shipping complex programs on time in close partnership with engineering leadership
  • Technically literate enough to read code, understand a modern software stack, and earn credibility with senior engineers from day one
  • AI-native with hands-on experience using AI tools to make engineering operations more leveraged
  • Builder’s instinct who sees a gap, builds the fix, and ships it without waiting for direction
  • Strong written communication with the ability to turn engineering activity into crisp status updates, risk calls, and decisions the team can rally around
  • Comfortable operating without a playbook, moving with urgency, and treating company resources like your own

Nice To Haves

  • Security or cybersecurity product experience is a strong plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Run the engineering operating rhythm, including sprint planning, standups, retros, and release planning, keeping the team focused and moving
  • Coordinate work across product engineering, security research, and infra, surfacing dependencies and making sure handoffs do not drop
  • Own delivery predictability across the engineering team, tracking what is on schedule, what is slipping, and why, and surface risk to leadership before it becomes a fire
  • Own launch readiness for every release, including the checklist, the cross-team sign-offs, and the post-launch debrief
  • Build the incident response playbook and run postmortems that turn one-time fires into permanent fixes
  • Define and track the engineering health metrics that tell us whether we are shipping well, from cycle time to deploy frequency to escape rate
  • Create the visibility layer for engineering, including dashboards, status updates, and the artifacts that let the rest of the company see what is happening without interrupting engineers

Benefits

  • Meaningful equity
  • Ownership in what we're building
