Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, focusing on delivering gigawatts of compute power faster than anyone else. This involves rethinking every layer of the stack, from acquiring power to operating data centers. The Capacity Delivery Team is responsible for the technical execution of building these sites, aiming to engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized in months, not years. They design data centers that can be built rapidly, with a focus on preventing rework by catching problems early. The goal is to design it once and build it a hundred times, with each build benefiting from the lessons learned from previous sites to achieve a scale of 50GW+. This role is crucial for building and running the Quality Assurance (QA) program across capacity delivery. It involves establishing standards, conducting audits, and defining metrics from the factory to the energization phase. The QA program will define quality gates for each phase, including fabrication, installation, and commissioning handover, ensuring they are enforceable rather than aspirational. A key responsibility will be managing the nonconformance process, ensuring issues are tracked, dispositioned, trended, and fed back to the source. The role also requires reporting on the quality health of the portfolio using metrics that leadership can act upon.
