Technical Program Manager, Omen Mission Systems

Anduril•Costa Mesa, CA

About The Position

Anduril is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Omen team at our Costa Mesa HQ. Omen is Anduril’s hover-to-cruise autonomous air vehicle (AAV) that packs the endurance, payload, and mission flexibility of much larger airplanes into a novel runway-independent Group 3 platform. Omen can operate from ship decks, beaches, or remote island clearings, providing true runway independence and freedom of maneuver across defense and civilian domains. Omen is the first tail-sitter aircraft with a mass-production contract, with an order of 50 systems representing a decisive investment that anchors production and accelerates the development of future systems. You will work on new aircraft development in a lean, high-ownership culture where you directly shape the product and operate at a velocity to fly new designs within months, not years. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager specializing in Mission Systems to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of our Mission Systems development programs maturing mission-specific configurations of Omen. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong program management skills, AAV experience, and the ability to work closely with both customers and vendors.

  • Familiarity with UAS products and experience working with end users in the field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized: able to manage concurrent programs and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction.

  • An active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of Mission Systems development on Omen through the complete life cycle: customer studies, requirements definition, design, fabrication, test, and production.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance and milestone requirements.
  • Travel to customer sites, vendors, test events, and demonstration events.
