As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, You will ensure the physical storage fleet matches the logical storage demand in the most Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimal and reliable manner. Occasionally, shape storage demand to meet the physical fleet composition. You will work directly with Google’s supply chain, data center infrastructure, networking, and software engineering teams to design and deliver the future state of resource management within Google. Your charter will include the identification of service efficiency at Google, the balancing of resource distribution against supply chain, data center infrastructure, network, shared service, and budgetary constraints, and the implementation of tools and policies to optimize resource management across the entire engineering stack at Google. Beyond solid program delivery and technical skills, you have experience in software product development, quantitative analytics, or supply chain management. You have a rare ability to synthesize strategic solutions to broad problems. You will develop in a very fast-paced and demanding environment.
