About The Position

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The Product Quality Assurance Lead, acting as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Test, will define, prioritize, and drive optimized testing for Google products to ensure a exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities include guaranteeing test coverage, identifying gaps, analyzing escaped defects to prevent regressions, and driving critical issue resolution before key milestones. This role demands a highly individual in wireless communications, significant experience in Test TPM, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. The Product Test team ensures exceptional customer experiences for Google's new (NPI) and In-market Phones, Hearables, and Wearables. Using specialized testing methodologies, we translate critical user feedback into actionable hardware (HW) and software (SW) improvements. We define Customer Use Journeys (CUJs) from customer insights, execute targeted tests, and provide engineering teams with the data needed to resolve issues efficiently within tight product development cycles. Through collaboration with cross-functional (x-fn) partners, we drive these crucial fixes to completion. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience.
