We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Business Development team to drive customer adoption and technical qualification of our silicon-carbon composite anode material, SCC55®. This role acts as a technical liaison between commercial partners (automotive OEMs, consumer electronics leaders, global cell manufacturers) and internal engineering teams, managing joint development agreements, sampling pipelines, and customer validation from initial engagement to commercial delivery.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Mandarin (native or professional full-working proficiency, written and spoken) is required to interface directly with major Asian cell manufacturing partners and supply chain stakeholders.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of technical program management, application engineering, or technical customer success experience in the lithium-ion battery, advanced materials, or automotive/EV sectors.
  • Hands-on familiarity with lithium-ion cell chemistry, silicon-anode development, electrode formulation, and battery testing standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder technical projects, translate complex data for commercial teams, and navigate high-stakes OEM engagements.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with silicon-carbon composite materials or advanced battery chemistry scaling.
  • Prior exposure to automotive OEM cell qualification standards (e.g., APQP, PPAP) or tier-1 cell manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for partner meetings and facility visits.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical program interface for commercial partners, facilitating technical deep-dives, specifications matching, and Joint Development Agreements (JDAs).
  • Drive customer sampling programs and cell qualification cycles to meet customer gating requirements.
  • Partner closely with program managers, business development managers, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations to translate customer specifications into internal product roadmaps and technical deliverables.
  • Establish project scopes, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure key program milestones are delivered on schedule.
  • Synthesize OEM testing feedback and battery testing data to refine application guidelines and present technical progress to external and internal executive stakeholders.
