About the position
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Product team and play a crucial role in our execution process with Engineering. The successful candidate will lead the planning, development, and release of large-scale initiatives across multiple platforms and teams. Additionally, they will focus on streamlining our execution methodology and leveraging technology and automation to improve efficiency. This role requires strong communication skills, a talent for problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Own and facilitate sprint planning across development teams
- Determine and document project timelines and complexity
- Lead execution for feature development and execution for large projects spanning across multiple platforms, languages, and internal teams in different time zones
- Ensure release planning is tracked and managed effectively, and communicated throughout the organization
- Develop and iterate on product release checklists with relevant stakeholders in line with regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Product and Engineering on capacity planning at both a high level during quarterly planning and sprint by sprint
- Track team velocity and evaluate and recommend organizational updates to improve project development and delivery
- Advocate and leverage automation to decrease manual process related tasks
- Identify process issues and build and iterate on solutions quickly
- Focus on continuously improving team quality and output
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Work with data to track team performance and synthesize recommendations
