About The Position

The Technical Program Manager 3 will be a key contributor to the Electrofill Product Group, within the Engineering Operations Team, supporting Sabre 3D and Sabre products. The Engineering Operations Team reports within the WETS PG Engineering Department, closely aligned with PG Engineering goals and objectives, and works hand in hand with the Electrofill Product Management Team. This role operates in a dynamic environment, is deeply engaged in numerous PG deliverables, and is central to the PG’s success. The position offers independent areas of ownership while working within a tightly collaborative small team environment that highly values and encourages creative thinking, flexibility, and continual improvement. In this role, you will directly contribute to highly impactful PG programs and projects, solve real-world problems in a fast-paced environment, and provide solutions to internal and external groups, with work that has immediate and rewarding results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.
Creative thinking skills are very important.
Attention to detail and a drive for accuracy is a must.
Ability to multi-task across multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity and experience with the Sabre 3D product and POA, and understanding of tool configurations and options, and their inter-dependencies.
Familiarity with SAP, TC-PLM, and CQ.
Flexibility to operate in several different areas of ownership, and being a self-driver, are a big plus.
Knowledge of the Product history, or being able to determine it accurately, will be vital, as well as configuration dependencies.
Knowledge of Change Management methodologies is a strong plus.
Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
Familiarity with engineering modelling software such as Creo or NX is a plus.
This is not a design intensive position but technical acumen is important.

Responsibilities

Management of Sabre 3D POA (Product Option Architecture).
Leading the Sabre 3D roadmap for planning cut-ins of new features, CIP, addressing OB situations, etc.
Working with Product Management & Engineering to understand their needs and translate them into implementation.
Making redline updates to Visio to add, remove, or modify options.
Understanding BOM management best practices and applying them in a scalable fashion to production BOMs & POA.
Writing the item text used in the POA BOM.
Working within Engineering Operations to define BOM updates needed & ensure their accuracy.
Managing the strategy of CRs & ECNs to ensure the PG's needs are met.
Working with engineers to fill out & present Engineering Operations owned slides in design reviews.
Assisting the NSR team with any questions regarding the POA and possible configurations.
Answering general questions and inquiries relating to any of the above.
Closely collaborating with Product Management, PG Engineering Management, PG Engineers, LIGHT, KATs and Customer Teams, Operations, Supply Chain, and Configuration Engineering.
Extensive interaction with onshore and offshore PG Engineers.
