About The Position

The Technical Program Manager 3 role is within the Global Operations - NPI Materials, Technical Program Management team. This team integrates information systems, facilities, supply chain, and logistics to support the delivery of new products. The role is crucial for orchestrating breakthroughs in new product development and release, leading cross-functional teams through project execution, and blending technical expertise with strategic planning. The Technical Program Manager will own technical projects from initiation to delivery, managing schedules and budgets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in continuous improvement or technical program management.
Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.

Nice To Haves

Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.
Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SAP.
Ability to read and interpret product Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Direct experience leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail for everyday tactical execution.
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities as related to cost structure.
Familiarity with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Change Management methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Forms and leads cross-functional teams (comprised of Supply Chain, Operations, and other members as required) to define sourcing strategies and sourcing plans for new products, including recommendations for new supplier selection & evaluation as part of Pilot Organization.
Serves as the single point of contact to the Supply Chain team to confirm supplier readiness in terms of production capacity and approved critical parts manufacturing prior to key product milestones.
Manages the transition of new products from pilot production to volume production.
Uses software tools to perform regular cost rollups and analyze product cost performance to drive corrective action as required to achieve product cost targets, and manage the product cost roadmap prior to production release.
Works collaboratively with supply chain and engineering stakeholders; develops supplier selection processes for piece parts or outsourced assemblies and identifies supply chain risks supporting sourcing decisions.
Responsible for resolving discrepancies between cost targets and quoted costs; creates and delivers presentations to program executives and CFT stakeholders.
Provides feedback to engineering on DFx (cost, manufacturability).
