About The Position

Eidra is expanding into the US market and is seeking an experienced Technical Program Director to join their product and technology group based in Chicago. This role is for a program leader who can balance strategic oversight with the operational depth of software development and technical delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders, working closely with squad leads on delivery and technical challenges, and adapting their approach as needed. The role involves creating clarity across teams and stakeholders, establishing the program's operating rhythm, and ensuring work streams remain aligned, coordinated, and progressing with momentum.

Requirements

  • Financial fluency: owned program P&L or been close to it, understanding burn, margin protection, and financial tracking.
  • Ability to zoom out and zoom in: comfortable presenting program health summaries to VPs and untangling delivery dependencies with engineering leads.
  • Strong command of mobile application delivery: understanding of multi-squad program structures, friction points, and keeping complex releases on track.
  • Track record of building trust with senior stakeholders through clear communication, honest expectation setting, and proactive issue raising.
  • Experience designing ways of working across geographies and time zones for distributed programs.
  • Familiarity with how AI and modern tooling can improve delivery operations.
  • Experience with right-sized process implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the U.S. program delivery lead on a large global account, partnering with a Sweden-based program lead and a Chicago-based account team.
  • Ensure the broader program operates smoothly and effectively, staying connected to work across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain visibility into dependencies, proactively surface risks, and help teams move forward with clarity and momentum.
  • Oversee program financials, including tracking actuals, monitoring burn against forecast, and supporting healthy margin management.
  • Work through delivery leads who manage individual squads, providing meaningful oversight and support.
  • For complex workstreams, including a multi-squad mobile application program, maintain a strong understanding of progress, blockers, and key decisions to engage with senior client stakeholders and drive resolution.
  • Shape how the partnership operates day-to-day, establishing and evolving communication rhythms, decision-making approaches, and operating structures for distributed teams.

  • Competitive salary package
  • Comprehensive benefits prioritizing employee well-being
  • Healthcare benefits with fully subsidized insurance premiums for employees and their families
  • Flexible time off with a minimum of 3 weeks off per year
