About The Position

The Technical Product Repair Specialist is a hands-on technical role focused on diagnosing and resolving product issues to ensure equipment performs safely and reliably. The Technical Product Repair Specialist will troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain medical devices and simulation equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with technology, and using problem-solving skills to deliver quality results and a positive customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year experience in a technical support/computer repair environment
Computer networking experience/knowledge
Strong computer literacy skills (Microsoft platform) with an emphasis on software knowledge, installations and use.
Strong customer service-oriented attitude along with excellent telephone presence
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or packages up to 40–50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods while performing repair tasks.
Ability to operate hand tools / power tools and testing equipment required for diagnostics, repair, and assembly.

Nice To Haves

2-year technology degree and post school experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical devices and simulation equipment
Diagnose hardware, software, and networking issues
Test repaired products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
Support warranty and non-warranty repairs and assist with new product testing
Communicate with customers regarding repair status, diagnostics, quotes, and shipping
Accurately document and track repairs within the ERP system
Maintain repair records and assist with inventory organization and cycle counts
