About The Position
Alliance HCM is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join their growing team in The Woodlands, TX. The Technical Product Manager will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform capabilities, backend integrations, and API frameworks. They will work closely with Engineering leadership and Staff Engineers to align business goals with technical execution, transforming complex business needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and system-level roadmaps. This role involves assessing dependencies, identifying risks, validating technical feasibility, and prioritizing initiatives such as infrastructure modernization, scalability improvements, and new platform capabilities. The Technical Product Manager will manage and refine the engineering backlog to ensure development teams can execute efficiently, contributing to a stronger, smarter, and more scalable platform.
Requirements
- Prior hands-on experience in a technical role such as software engineering, data analysis, systems architecture, or a similar technical discipline
- Ability to translate business requirements into highly detailed technical specifications and user stories
- Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
- Experience prioritizing work and managing competing initiatives
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in SaaS, fintech, payroll technology, or Human Capital Management (HCM) environments
Responsibilities
