About The Position

NVIDIA’s Data Center CPU Product Management team develops silicon and platforms for next-generation AI and data center infrastructure. The Technical Program Manager, CPU Hardware Programs will lead progress across complex CPU silicon and platform projects, working closely with the CPU Hardware Lead. The role connects technical priorities and trade-offs to actionable plans across architecture, silicon, platform, firmware, validation, performance, operations, and product teams. It clarifies dependencies, ensures decisions and commitments lead to action, and establishes program mechanisms that coordinate teams from development through customer readiness. This is a highly visible technical program leadership position involving close work on complex hardware programs and influence across engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams. The role drives coordinated progress, tracks achievements, dependencies, risks, decisions, owners, and readiness criteria, and helps teams resolve technical and delivery challenges. It translates engineering inputs into clear program plans and communications, coordinates responses to customer and partner questions, and maintains traceability between commitments, requirements, decisions, and delivery owners. It also improves program efficiency through source-of-truth management, dashboards, lightweight automation, and operating mechanisms. The base salary range is $168,000–$258,750 for Level 4 and $208,000–$327,750 for Level 5, based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits. Applications will be accepted at least until October 19, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes and is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, hardware program management, or a comparable role leading complex hardware and software products.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of server or silicon development, including dependencies across CPU, memory, I/O, firmware, board, system, validation, and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience building and driving coordinated technical programs across architecture, engineering, validation, operations, product, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to understand complex gaps in evidence, dependencies, assumptions, and implementation plans.
  • Strong technical and executive communication skills, including experience developing requirements, decision documents, risk assessments, program updates, and customer-facing responses.
  • Excellent judgment, organization, and follow-through in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with multiple senior collaborators.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering server CPUs, accelerated computing platforms, rack-scale systems, or complex silicon programs.
  • Experience with silicon bring-up, platform qualification, OEM/ODM execution, firmware, validation, or production readiness.
  • A track record of building program mechanisms or artifacts that measurably improved decision speed, schedule predictability, or issue resolution.
  • Experience handling customer commitments and technical readiness for pre-production hardware.
  • Knowledge of CPU-driven platforms and data center client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive coordinated progress across CPU silicon and platform programs, tracking achievements, dependencies, risks, decisions, owners, and readiness criteria.
  • Collaborate with architecture, silicon, platform, firmware, validation, performance, operations, and product teams to identify dependencies and advance critical work.
  • Identify schedule, scope, quality, and readiness risks; outline technical trade-offs and bring collaborators together to make timely decisions.
  • Translate engineering inputs into concise, technically accurate program plans, requirements, decision records, risk assessments, and executive updates.
  • Coordinate responses to hardware and platform questions from customers, partners, sales, and executives, aligning commitments with product requirements, technical evidence, and program capacity.
  • Maintain traceability across customer commitments, product requirements, program decisions, and delivery owners as schedules and configurations evolve.
  • Improve program efficiency using source-of-truth management, dashboards, lightweight automation, and operating mechanisms that reduce manual coordination and accelerate decisions.
